Ghent – Galibier. This cycling challenge faces Ypresling Axel De Muyt and his platoon of people with diabetes. Their hundreds of kilometers should raise more money for Flemish children with a lifelong diagnosis of diabetes. “A hundred years after the first insulin treatment, the number of Flemish people with diabetes continues to increase alarmingly,” warns Axel, who can count on a check from his Ypres ping-pong club.
