Tarquinia Hospital Launches New Cardio CT Scan Service
Tarquinia, Italy – A new cardio CT scan service has been activated at teh Tarquinia hospital, hailed as a “strategic investment for local healthcare” by Doctor Alberto Riglietti, general practitioner and president of the Agricultural University of Tarquinia.
The service, located in the Radiodiagnostics unit, utilizes latest-generation technology to provide high-definition images of the heart and vessels, enabling detailed study of coronary arteries. This non-invasive diagnostic tool is crucial for the early detection of serious coronary pathologies, such as heart attacks, allowing for timely and effective interventions. The implementation of this technology addresses a critical need for advanced cardiac diagnostics within the local community.
The Viterbo Local health Authority funded the project, recognizing the Tarquinia hospital’s vital role in the province’s and region’s healthcare network. This investment encompasses not only structural and technological upgrades but also the professional growth of the hospital’s staff. General Director Egisto Bianconi and regional councilors Daniele Sabatini and Giulio Zelli were specifically acknowledged by Dr.Riglietti for their commitment to this initiative and the valorization of healthcare professionals.
Dr. Riglietti stated the new service confirms the Tarquinia hospital as a “essential point of reference for local healthcare,” providing modern and effective care to citizens. The cardio CT scan service is now fully operational and accepting patients, marking a notable enhancement to the hospital’s cardiology department and ensuring residents have access to state-of-the-art cardiac care closer to home.
