The Democratic Volleyball Association of India (FDA) on Friday issued a notice to the Marxist Communist Party (MCP) office at the Marxist Communist Party (MCP) office denying them permission to attend a bicycle rally on Saturday.

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYLI) has been cycling from Chennai, Kanyakumari, Coimbatore and Pondicherry to Trichy since the 21st of this month, urging them to give jobs to the youth and not to sell the public sector to the private sector.

While permission had been granted throughout Tamil Nadu, the police refused permission for a bicycle rally in the Perambalu district and the notice was issued by the guards led by Perambalu Assistant Inspector Palanichamy in the presence of Grama Niladhari Senthilkumar at the district committee office of the Marxist Communist Party.
The district committee strongly condemns the incident. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu should immediately intervene in the activities of the District Police which is acting with intent to tarnish the reputation of the Government of Tamil Nadu and take action against the concerned officials. In addition, a bicycle campaign tour and reception will be held as planned.
