Bavaria’s wind turbines are to be built here

The municipality of Fuchstal is idyllically located a few kilometers west of Lake Ammer, with the Lech flowing right around the corner, whose bright blue color and rapid flow rate give a glimpse of the nearby Alps. This is where the awakening should soon begin, which Climate Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) has been pushing for since taking office. According to data collected by the Federal Network Agency, three wind turbines are to be built in the Leeder district by autumn next year. Hub height of the devices from the manufacturer Enercon: almost 167 meters, output per unit: 5.56 megawatts. These will be plants of the latest available type, impressive in their efficiency and sheer size. And not only that: They are also largely alone in their federal state. Only one other wind turbine has been approved in Bavaria since the beginning of the year, which is to be built near Treuchtlingen in Central Franconia.
