Directed by Koratla Siva and composed by Mani Sharma and starring Chiranjeevi, Ramcharan, Pooja Hegde and others, the Telugu film ‘Acharya’ was released yesterday. Due to the film’s not being as expected, the negative reviews came out a lot. Telugu fans will be more interested in Chiranjeevi movie. But the first day collection for the film was disappointing. The film, which was made at a cost of around Rs 140 crore, has become a business to the same extent.
In the Telugu states, it has collected only Rs 18 crore on the first day. Theatergoers may be shocked that fans will not come as expected as the reviews have come in negative. They are hopeful that today and tomorrow will be a holiday, and the next Ramadan holiday will be partially charged. However, it is doubtful whether they will escape the loss, according to local sources in Tollywood.
