Toyota, a Japanese carmaker, has reached a new milestone in Indian market sales. Accordingly, Toyota has sold 20 lakh cars in India. The 20 lakh unit sold in the Indian market is the Toyota Glanza Hashback model. The unit was handed over to the customer at the Nippon Toyota sales center in Thrissur district of Kerala.

In addition to the new milestone, Toyota has announced that it will raise the prices of its Glanza and Urban Cruiser car models starting tomorrow. An announcement about this was made recently. Toyota has said it will raise the price of car models in a bid to offset rising production costs. This time the price of cars is to be raised by up to two per cent.
