Kuwait City: The Central Government has included Kuwait in the list of countries which have given exemption for RT PCR testing. Authorities said those who received two doses of the vaccine did not need to undergo a PCR test.

Passengers arriving in India from Kuwait must submit an affidavit and a certificate of completion of Kovid vaccination on the Air Suvidha portal. People from 108 countries on the list released by the Ministry of Health on April 29 do not need an RT PCR test.

The list also includes Hong Kong, Ukraine, USA, Singapore, Brazil, Egypt, Iran, Maldives, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The non-inclusion of Kuwait in the Central Government’s list had led to protests. Most people in Kuwait have completed vaccination. A large percentage of people have received the booster dose.

At the same time, expatriates no longer have to undergo PCR to enter Kuwait. The announcement was made by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation yesterday. It has been informed that PCR PCR verification is not mandatory for anyone coming to the country from abroad. This applies to both those who have been vaccinated and those who have not. The new decision will take effect on May 1, 2022.
