Rescue workers rushed to the scene and are busy rescuing those trapped in the rubble. Rescue team officials said 39 more people could not be reached.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, who learned of the crash, has ordered all efforts to rescue those trapped and injured in the building. He has also ordered an inquiry into the cause of the building accident. Authorities say there have been no casualties so far and 5 people have been rescued from the rubble so far.
