Expanding the Fair for a Growing Community
To manage the increased demand, the event organizers doubled the size of the exhibition floor and eliminated indoor queuing, streamlining the visitor experience. The fair, held at the De Voorste Venne cultural center, showcased a diverse array of Efteling and Anton Pieck collectibles, alongside unique creations from fellow fans.
The event also attracted prominent figures within the Efteling community. Celebrated vlogger Niels Kooyman, renowned model builder John Steijger, and artist Emiel Schaap – who unveiled his latest Joseph Charlatan model – were among those in attendance.
Exclusive Merchandise and Entertainment Highlights
Beyond the extensive collection of memorabilia, attendees enjoyed a range of entertainment options. Live recordings replaced the usual “Small Message” podcast, offering a unique audio experience. A nearly five-minute video report captures the energy of the event. “The first visitors were already at the door at 7:25 am, more than two hours before the start,” a spokesperson for the organizing group, Stichting Vertierelier, revealed. The spokesperson also indicated that the implemented changes were “very well received” by attendees.
