As the impact of the Veil on the country continues to grow, the Central Government has written to the State Governments on the steps to be taken.
In the letter, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the temperature in May would rise significantly above normal and that the state governments should take necessary steps to prevent the effects of the storm.
Further, ‘the guidelines of the Federal Ministry of Health should be followed. The Indian Meteorological Department records daily temperature-related information. State governments should take precautionary measures accordingly. Physicians should be kept on standby to treat physical ailments caused by sun exposure. Should be taken care of without power shortage. We have to give adequate instructions to the people, ”the health secretary said in his letter.
