It’s time to choose the most beautiful architect-designed houses in France

by time news

Launched just ten years ago by the real estate agency Architecture de Collection, the Archinovo prize for a new architect’s house in France is now in its sixth edition. Organizers have criss-crossed the country to unearth 44 recently built projects across the country, which will compete throughout the month of May. Among them, there are 17 new constructions, 13 extensions or rehabilitations and 14 grouped habitats. Beyond the creativity, ingenuity and aesthetics that will be found in these numerous projects, the 2022 edition marks an evolution in ways of living. In particular, we will see how the boundaries between the individual and the collective tend to blur.

From now on, the public is invited to vote on the Architecture de collection site for their favorite project until May 31st. Partner of this prize, Le Figaro immobilier will present to you, during the four following weekends, two “families” of projects, each grouping together 4 to 8 achievements (one publication on Saturday, one on Sunday). These groupings are made only by affinities of projects and do not correspond to the different categories of the competition. The latter will in fact result in 5 trophies: the public prize (based on the online votes of Internet users designating their favorite achievement) and four awards given by a jury of specialists. The latter will meet on June 7, 2022 to award the Grand Jury Prize, the Special Jury Mention, the Extension and Rehabilitation Trophy and a Grouped or Alternative Housing Prize in the fall.

See you on May 7

Next weekend, you will be able to discover each of the 44 projects with themes such as the reinvented top of the range, a new life for the architectural heritage, the return to favor of metal or even alternative habitats. For the sake of fairness, each project will be entitled to three photos and a short presentation text. These publications will allow you to vote directly from the article for the project of your choice. See you on Saturday May 7 for the first series of candidates.
