Dubai: The Dubai Civil Defense has approved the use of drones for rescue and firefighting in the event of a major fire.

This will help in accurately understanding the magnitude of the fire and taking preventive measures in the event of a fire in high-rise buildings, narrow spaces and warehouses where hazardous materials are stored.
