Saudi Arabia has announced $ 8 billion (approximately Rs 61,218.64 crore) in aid to tackle the crisis in Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves. The agreement was reached during talks between Saudi officials and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who is on a three-day visit to the country. Assistance will be provided in a variety of ways, including doubling funding for oil, disbursing investments and cash certificates, and renewing existing investments of $ 4.2 billion. Finance Minister Mifta Ismail is in Saudi Arabia to complete further talks on aid.
