Only athletes from Karate Mühlbach who maintained a consistent training regimen throughout the summer months were eligible to participate in the Trofeo Veneto tournament. Fiwickeler Leads the Charge
Leading the charge was 20-year-old Florian Fiwickeler, who achieved a decisive victory in all of his matches. “Winning 3-0 in the final is a clear exclamation mark and shows the form that he now has to maintain until the first national competition in mid-December,” a senior coach stated. Fiwickeler’s performance sets a high bar for the team as they look ahead to national-level competition.
Youthful Talent Shines
Alongside Fiwickeler’s gold medal, 13-year-old Maria Peintner also claimed the top spot on the podium. The silver medals were awarded to Anna Gallmetzer and Julia Mair, both also 13 years old, showcasing the depth of talent within the younger ranks of Karate Mühlbach.
Bronze medals were secured by 17-year-old Laura Peintner and 18-year-old Lorenz Mantinger, both competing in the more advanced brown and black belt categories. This success across multiple age and skill levels underscores the club’s comprehensive development program.
