Jacky Lebas, a documentary filmmaker of French origin, who has lived in Ukraine for years, chose to stay in her village of Zhytomir, located two hours west of Kyiv.

If he is in France for a few days to give lectures on the situation in Ukraine, he intends to return home quickly.
“I believe that today we cannot deny it, this Third World War has already arrived in our wallets, and in all the countries of the world”, explained the documentary filmmaker in an interview with Mario Dumont.
He finds that several small countries around Ukraine are preparing for the worst.
“This invasion perpetrated by this tyrant scratches the north of Moldavia… In Lithuania, in Estonia, the men are making trenches on the ground. They are preparing for an invasion, all fear that this megalomaniac will be more greedy, ”he explains.
After touching these countries, Mr. Lebas fears that Russia will invade Poland, a member of NATO since 1999, thus truly triggering a Third World War.
Mr. Lebas admits that he is not a specialist in international politics, but wants to speak on behalf of the Ukrainian people who, even if the war ends, will be deprived of living a normal life for a very long time.
He reports in particular that the population no longer has the right to frequent the forests because they have been mined by the Russians, and this for a period of 3 to 5 years.
“These are people who live in nature, and there, they are deprived for 5 years. This war will mark their daily life. Civilians are paying the very high price today.”
