A chair was thrown tonight (Monday) at a professor Amir HatzroniA media man and publicist who became famous following controversial statements, during a live broadcast of the Ashdod TV Online website, which was broadcast from the center of the city garden in Ashdod.
Following the incident, the broadcast was stopped, with crew members expressing shock. Ashdod police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident. Police officers began collecting documentation from security cameras, and from the cameras that filmed the live broadcast, in order to track down the violator of the law-breaking order.

According to a preliminary assessment, this is a minor who fled the scene and efforts are being made to locate him. It is not clear whether this is a minor at the age of criminal responsibility.

Whoever was quick to condemn the event was the network star and rapper Yoav Eliassi (The Shadow), who published a post on his Facebook page, in which he wrote: “Shocking. Hatzroni gets a chair to the head live and opens his head.”
“Listen, it’s no secret that I do not like my yard to say the least, but it is a despicable thing and worthy of all condemnation,” the shadow added, asking, “Why get into such a situation? Why is it good ?! What are we animals ?!”.
After the incident, Hatzroni responded to the past violent incident. On his attackers he said they “had to stay in the caves”. Hatzroni added: “This is what I get here in Ashdod, Kibinimt.”

After being treated by a first aid team, Hatzroni said: “The thing that will make me most happy is to see you come back to Morocco. That is my opinion and I will say it all my life.” In response, the medic was heard saying to him: “Look who is accompanying you, Oriental people accompanying you. I am Oriental, I took care of you. The one who put a can on you was an uneducated child.” Hatzroni replied angrily: “The uneducated children always come from a certain place. They never come from north Tel Aviv.

Hetsroni describes himself as an “anti-Zionist who is not pro-Arab”. He spoke out in favor of colonialism and against taking in refugees from the Third World. Since the early 2010s, Hetsroni’s name has been linked to various scandals in which he expressed controversial views. When a socialist protester set himself on fire at a demonstration in 2011, Hetsroni remarked that it was “a cheap way to get rid of a social parasite”. In 2013, he described feminists marching in the Slutwalk as “too bulky to look at” and said that given the choice between a cat and a feminist, he would save the cat, since cats are more grateful than feminists.
