Qantas set to launch world’s longest non-stop flight Sydney-London flights to begin in 2025 The service will be 19 hours long.

Qantas has placed an order for 12 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft as part of its Project Sunrise project. The company has also announced plans to launch long-distance services to cities including London and New York.

In 2019, Qantas launched the London-Sydney service on a trial basis. It covered a distance of 17,800 km in 19 hours and 19 minutes. The 16,200-kilometer New York-Sydney flight also took about 19 hours to reach its destination.

Currently, Singapore Airlines operates the longest flight. The service is from Singapore to New York. The length of the Singapore-New York service is 16,700 km.
