EToro’s crypto manager moves to investor position: “Opportunities for growth”

Tomer Niv, who managed the crypto sector at eToro, joins the venture capital fund Entrée Capital as a crypto investor. Niv will focus on investments in blockchain technologies and start-ups that develop solutions and tools in the field of crypto and Web3.

For over six years, the Enterprise Capital Fund has been investing in technologies in the fields of crypto and blockchain. The fund also recently launched a dedicated $ 10 million program to invest in young crypto startups with a number of young companies in the field.

Tomer entered the crypto field in 2017, when he joined Bits of Gold. He then joined eToro, where he led the fields of crypto, NFT and Towers. In his new position at Entrance Capital, he is expected to lead the crypto investments in Israel and will work in parallel with the fund’s portfolio companies on their Web3 strategy.
