PSG: Kheira Hamraoui back in individual training

by time news

This Tuesday afternoon marked the return to training for Kheira Hamraoui after a week of sidelining. The 32-year-old midfielder has found the Bougival facilities (Yvelines) but not with her teammates. Expected at 3 p.m. with the rest of the group, Hamraoui resumed but individually in the company of a physical trainer after several days off. A situation that will continue until further notice from PSG.

On April 23, the French international was at the origin of a scuffle during a collective session after having hung with Sandy Baltimore then Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani. Hamraoui then left the field and did not show up at the start of the bus to the station before the trip to Lyon for the first leg of the Champions League.

Finally received on Tuesday April 26 by the Parisian management, including Leonardo, the sports director, and Ulrich Ramé, general manager of the women’s section, the former Barça player was excluded from training for a week so that the team could prepare his semi-final return in serenity. Since then, Hamraoui had therefore left Bougival and followed his team to be eliminated at the gates of a European final far from the Parc des Princes.

For the time being, no follow-up is scheduled from PSG. It seems unlikely that the player will return to collective training in the coming days and she should therefore miss the meeting in Bordeaux in the league this Saturday. His presence is also not guaranteed for the final of the Coupe de France, scheduled for May 15 against Yzeure (D2).

The internal situation has become untenable anyway, for all the players as well as for the technical staff, as relations are strained between Hamraoui and two executives like Diani and Katoto. All while the investigation into the assault suffered by the player on November 4 is still continuing. Last week, a man was taken into custody before being released without charge against him.
