Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has hit back at actor Ajay Devgn for saying that Hindi is not the national language and why Tamils should speak Hindi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who chaired the 37th session of the Parliamentary Business Language Committee last month, had called for the adoption of Hindi instead of English. While this caused great controversy, the South Indian state governments condemned Amit Shah’s speech.
