In the end, Gujarat scored 143 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs. Sai Sudarshan was unbeaten on 65.
Following this, Punjab won by 8 wickets at 145 for 2 in 16 overs with a target of 144 to win.
Shikhar Dhawan (62) and Livingstone (30) were on the field till the last. Banuka Rajapaksa scored 40 runs.
