Producer Singaravelan, who was arrested on a charge of embezzling money from actor Vimal, has been granted conditional bail by a court.

In the year 2020, actor Wimal, Rs. Singaravelan, the producer of the film Mannar Vagaiyara, was arrested by the Chennai Virukambakkam police a few days ago on a charge of embezzling Rs 5 crore.
The police also registered a case against actor Wimal and his friends Gopi and Thirunavukarasu under Section 5 on the basis of a complaint lodged by him. The Saidapet Criminal Arbitration Court has remanded producer Singara Velan in custody for 15 days on a complaint lodged by actor Wimal.
Saidapet court has granted conditional bail to producer Singaravelan, who was arrested on a charge of embezzling money from actor Vimal. Producer Singaravelan has filed a petition in the court on the ground that he will not act against actor Vimal in any way.
Further, the petitioner accepted the petition and pleaded that actor Wimal should go in peace, and the court granted conditional bail on what the producer Singaravelan had promised in the petition.
