The government is urging the rehabilitation of buildings with EU aid

The Secretary of Housing and Social Inclusion of the Generalitat, Carles Sala, took part in a conference in Girona to explain the operation of the Next Generation Funds for the rehabilitation of housing buildings for the professionals involved in the sector. The day was attended by professional associations (architecture, technical architecture and property managers) who will act as mediators and prescribers in the management of grants. Sala encouraged the use of this European aid, and stressed the importance of the current situation in terms of rehabilitation as a paradigm shift, “which will allow rehabilitation with criteria of accessibility and sustainability and which has the essential public collaboration -private ». He pointed out that it is the professional associations that must help to stimulate the public to rehabilitate and take advantage of the great opportunity represented by the 480 million grants.
