# Latin American Consultancy Pioneers AI-driven Business Innovation with First-of-its-Kind Christmas Carol
A Colombian firm is demonstrating the power of generative artificial intelligence not through marketing, but through a fully AI-composed Christmas carol, positioning itself at the forefront of strategic AI implementation in Latin America.
Álvarez & Correa – Creativity and Innovation Consultant has unveiled “But look how they create the idea they asked for,” the first business carol in Latin America developed entirely with generative AI. Departing from their previous practice of reinterpreting classic Christmas songs with an educational slant, the consultancy chose to leverage AI as a case study in applied innovation for 2025.
The project’s core objective, according to a company release, was to illustrate how AI can dramatically accelerate creative workflows, facilitate rapid prototyping, and enable agile experimentation at a reduced cost.”The carol is just the surface,” explained Mario Álvarez, director of Álvarez & Correa. “The significant thing is the process: research, generation of lyrics, composition, vocal testing, prototyping and multiple iterations. Everything was done with generative AI to show that technology does not replace talent; amplifies it.”
An “Orchestra of Artificial Intelligence”
The initiative was spearheaded by the IA Content Team, led by Jorge Chavarro, who conducted extensive research into both global and regional trends. This included analyzing aesthetics from K-pop and Anglo Christmas pop,and also exploring the potential of voice models and generative animation. The team then generated dozens of lyrical variations, musical arrangements, and anime-inspired visual concepts, employing a “fail fast, learn fast and create better” rapid prototyping methodology.
“We don’t use AI just to make content,” Álvarez emphasized. “We use it to build value. We want organizations to understand that artificial intelligence is a tool for prototyping services, experiences, messages and products with an effectiveness never seen before.”
From Content Creation to Corporate Change
The carol transcends mere entertainment, serving as a tangible exhibition for business leaders and managers on how to strategically integrate AI. It exemplifies how the technology can be woven into the entire innovation process – from initial ideation and experimentation to the validation of new products or services.
The firm’s stated goal is to shift the conversation surrounding AI, moving beyond its use for content production toward its potential to fundamentally transform how organizations create value. This launch solidifies Álvarez & Correa’s position as a leading consultancy in the strategic application of generative AI within Colombia and throughout Latin America, with a distinct focus on innovation prototyping rather than traditional advertising.
“But look how they create the idea they asked for” is currently available on digital platforms and will be incorporated into the official case study materials for the Álvarez & Correa Innovation Laboratory.
