Kochi: The first glimpses video of Pan India movie Yashoda starring South Indian heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been released. Unni Mukandan will also be seen in the lead role in the film which is all set to release in theaters on August 12. The film is being directed by newcomer Hari-Harish.

The movie is produced by Shivalanka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies. Apart from Samantha and Unni Mukundan, the film also stars Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shathru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma in the lead roles.
About 80% of the film is finished shooting. The final schedule will be in Hyderabad till early June. Malayalam besides Telugu. The cast and crew are trying to bring the film to theaters simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

Manisharma composed the music with lyrics by Chandrabose and Ramajogiya Shastri. The screenplay for the Hari-Harish duo was penned by Dr. The dialogues are prepared by Challa Bhagyalakshmi.
