Diletta Leotta, Pistocchi’s ambiguous phrase triggers the debate on Twitter: “With her you are happy to do many things”
Maurizio Pistocchi is not new to social controversies but perhaps in this case the storm broke out in spite of himself. The people of Twitter have indeed lashed out at the journalist for a sentence in response to a post on Diletta Leotta, whose birthday has also caused quite a bit of controversy. Curiously, it all started with a comment on Cristiano Ronaldo with which the DAZN presenter had nothing to do with.
Pistocchi in his tweet underlined that CR7 complained that he had been compared to different teams but that his agent, with the approval of Juventus, would have proposed him to many clubs. Even more serious, the Portuguese would not have explicitly spoken of the bianconeri regarding his future. Pistocchi is certainly not popular with Juventus fans who took the opportunity to criticize him.
“You can always ask Diletta Leotta if she hires you to make the lampshade by the pool,” wrote one user, ironically that he is currently unemployed. “With Diletta I would gladly do many things”, replied the reporter in an ambiguous and malicious way.
The tweet obviously sparked further controversy and Pistocchi was therefore forced to clarify the concept by erasing any possibility that it could be misrepresented: “She is a great professional and an intelligent woman. I would do a lot of things: because she is a good professional. If I had I could decide, Diletta would have taken her immediately to Mediaset: beautiful and talented, in spite of her envious colleagues “.
