Washington : Zeus, from Danton, Texas, is now the tallest living dog in the world. The height of the two-year-old Ciaz is 1.046 meters (three feet 5.18 inches). On Wednesday, it was officially announced that the dog had been included in the Guinness Book of Records. The eight-week-old Great Diane puppy was given to his sister by his brother Garrett, a young Brittany who owns a dog. Although Brittany was worried that he would not be able to raise the puppy, which was at an extraordinary height at 8 weeks, Zia soon adapted to Britain. Zeus’ favorite pastime is traveling with his British brother Garrett. Zeus’ playmates are other Australian Shepherd puppies from the British home. The Guinness World Record for the tallest dog in the world was the White Great Dane Titan. The Titan’s height was 107.3 cm (42.2 inches).
