Santosh Nayak, the founding president of the Velachery Rudra Vanniyar Sena, filed a petition in the 18th Metropolitan Court, Saidapet, Chennai. It says: –
Actor Surya starrer ‘Jaibeem’ is set in a scene that offends the Vanniyar community, humiliates them and creates hatred in the minds of other people, as well as Agni Kund, Mahalakshmi and the Guru’s name.
