Now, over the years, Kurien Chacko has returned to the role of a magistrate in the film ‘Saudi White’. Following the teaser release of the film, the role of the magistrate has been much discussed. Saudi white supremacists have revealed the reason for choosing Kurian Chacko for the film.
While selecting the characters for the film, many people looked for the role of the magistrate but were not satisfied, the activists said in the post. Meanwhile, activists say that Tarun Murthy, a director of Kurien Chacko’s video, accidentally saw Kurien Chacko, but was initially told that he was not interested, and that when the story of the film was told, his favorite Kurien nodded in agreement.
” At the time of the casting of Saudi White, the team was looking for someone to play the role of the funny magistrate in the film, but neither Tarun nor the team were satisfied with any of the options available. Although casting director Abu Valayamkulam pulled out the arrows one by one, Tarun was not satisfied with anything.
At that time, Tarun came across a YouTube video very unexpectedly. The team found out that the mannerisms, sitting and movements of the person seen in the video were all suitable for his character and inquired about him. It was then that he realized that the person he saw in the video was Kurian Chacko, who played the role of Lothar in the movie ‘Manu Uncle’. Realizing that we did not have a better chance, Tarun sent a text message to producer Sandeep Sen saying that he had got a magistrate.
At first glance, the enthusiastic producer was quick to make Kurian Chacko, a lottery player, a part of Saudi White. But Kurian Chacko’s contact number or other information was not available, which hampered his journey to find the character, who eventually contacted the channel that published the interview, and one day the two were ordered to enter Kurian Chacko’s office. Kurian Chacko’s reply after saying things. “Aw .. I’m not … that’s what Dennis Sir said back then … the movie has changed a lot since then … that means you look at another guy …” He was slowly changing his mind as he felt he should be a part of it too.
After meeting with Tarun, Kurien Chacko agreed to become a funny magistrate in Saudi White, but stopped short of expressing fear, excitement and curiosity about the character he would play.
But he came to the location with proper preparation and easily portrayed the character and left with a round of applause.
After ‘Operation Java’, ‘Saudi White’ will be directed by Tarun Murthy. Lukman Avaran, Devi Varma, Sudhi Koppa, Binu Pappu, Gokulan, Shrinda and Dhanya Ananya play the lead roles. The teaser, which visualizes a court case over a white man’s issue, had recently attracted attention.
