The Korea Youth Baseball Federation’s 20th national teams demonstrated marked improvement on the second day of the 2025 Korea-Taiwan International Exchange Exhibition, signaling a positive trajectory for the young athletes. Overall, the federation’s teams achieved a 3-3 record on Thursday, July 13th, adapting to the Taiwanese environment and refining their gameplay across all age groups.

Youth A Team Secures Decisive Victory

The Youth A national team, under the guidance of coaches Bae Kang-yeol and Kim Tae-hoon, delivered a strong performance with a 7-1 win. Key players contributing to the victory included starters Jeong Bo-min, Jeong Seong-won, Lee Seung-min, So Seong-won, Kim Woo-ri, Kim Hyun-joong, Choi Yo-han, Lee Seo-jun, Lee Dan-woo, Park Si-hwan, and Moon Ye-chan. Kim Dong-hee also made an impact as a substitute defender.

Youth B Team Stages Comeback Win

The Youth B team, led by general manager Jang-sul Yoon and coach Il-hyeon Cho, showcased resilience with a 7-4 come-from-behind victory. The starting lineup featured Min-ki Kim, Chan Jeon, Min-woo Kang, Seo-yul Kim, Do-jun Kim, Shin Gyu-chan, Jeon Ki-yoon, Kim Dong-wook, Lee Ho-seok, Shin Yoon, and Lee Seung-woo.

Youth C Team Demonstrates Improved Game Management

Despite a 2-9 loss, the Youth C national team, coached by Kim Jong-cheol and Manak-gil, exhibited noticeable progress in game management and defensive focus compared to their previous outing. The team’s starting players included Kim Do-yoon, Yu An-jun, Kim Tae-jun, Lee Woo-jin, Kim Dong-hee, Choi Yun-il, Choi Si-eun, Lee Gyu-ha, Bae Yi-jun, Kim Tae-yoon, and Yoo Geon-woo.

Mixed Results for Kumnamu Teams

The Kumnamu D national team, coached by Park Sang-gyu and Jang Jae-hyuk, faced a challenging match, falling 4-13. Players participating in the game were Koo Do-young, Lee Je-hyeon, Jeong Chan-min, Woo Seung-min, Yoo Si-woo, Lee Ye-seong, Cho Tae-joo, Jo Hyun-woo, Moon Seong-gyu, Hwang Kyu-hyun, and Kim Su-ho. In contrast, the Kumnamu E national team, under the leadership of coaches Park Min-cheol, Yoon Gyu-jin, and Choi Yun-oh, secured a 9-5 victory. Starting pitcher Ok Jeong-in was instrumental in the win, delivering a stellar performance with no earned runs in three innings and contributing two hits – both triples – at the plate. Players involved in the game included Rae-ho Kim, Beom-jun Park, Yun-woo Son, Seung-bin Shin, Jeong-in Ok, Ho-jin Lee, Ye-seung Jeong, In-pyeong Choi, Joo-hyuk Choi, Ki-moon Hwang, and Seok-jun Hong.

Youth K Team Gains Valuable Experience

The youth K national team, coached by Kim Jong-jin and Nam Sung-ho, experienced a 4-8 loss but gained valuable experience. Participants in the game were Kwak Do-yoon, Kang Tae-woo, Go Soo-ho, Kim Seong-ha, Kim Ye-jun, Kim Jae-hee, Kim Hyeong-min, Park Geun-hoo, Park Do-hyuk, Seo Ra-on, Seon Seon-woo, and Kim Jae-yoon.

Korea Youth Baseball Federation Chairman Lee Sang-geun expressed optimism about the teams’ progress, stating, “The children’s condition is gradually improving,” and anticipating “better performance as time goes by.” The ongoing exchange exhibition provides a crucial platform for these young players to develop their skills and represent Korean baseball on the international stage.
