England team
London: Former New Zealand player and current KKR captain McCullum will take over as head coach of England’s ODI and T20 teams and former South African Gary Kristen will take over as coach of the England Test team after Rob Kee takes over as managing director of the England team.
It seems Robert Key wants to make a difference if both McCullum and Gary Kristen are coaches for the England team. England, who have been on a downward spiral in Tests for the past few years, have lost both the Ashes series and the Test series in the West Indies.
This will be the first time England have appointed separate coaches for the White Ball (ODI & T20) and Red Ball (Test) teams.
Meanwhile, former Australia players Simon Katich, England’s Collingwood and Nick Knight are also under consideration for coaches.
