A 60-year-old man was fatally injured recently (Friday) after he apparently slipped with his vehicle into a water reservoir in an open area near the premises. MDA medics and paramedics provided him with medical treatment and performed resuscitation operations, which ultimately determined his death.

MDA paramedic Rafi Sheva, who arrived at the scene in a MDA helicopter, said: “The wounded man was brought in with MDA teams by civilians who rescued him from the vehicle. They told us he had slipped with his vehicle into the water reservoir. He was unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing. We performed advanced and prolonged resuscitation on him, but his condition was critical and in the end we had to determine his death. “

Ariel Fahima, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “When I arrived at the scene, we were told that he was killed as a result of a self-inflicted accident with his vehicle that deteriorated and fell into a water reservoir. “I performed resuscitation on him, but unfortunately they had to determine his death due to the nature of the serious injuries he suffered.”

The identity of the injured person is being examined and the circumstances are being investigated by a road accident investigator from the Negev region.
