Selestat (67)

This all-wood building of 240 m² has the particularity of being a double individual dwelling where two families of different generations live together. The first accommodation has a terrace on each level and the second, smaller, has a south-facing terrace. The entrance to the two accommodations is common. The spirit of community and living together reigns supreme here, a theme specific to Ajeance, which brings together 15 employees brought together by a multidisciplinary approach to architecture.

This long plot, where a dilapidated shop formerly took place, accommodates shared accommodation, collective housing being one of the specialties of the A6A agency. Each inhabitant has their own space with their bedroom and bathroom, in this 160 m² property. All the bedrooms have a large French window and the living room opens onto a wooden terrace through a sliding bay the width of the house. A way to preserve everyone’s privacy within a shared living environment.

From a former metal workshop, the basement has become a residential unit. A patio has even been installed in the heart of the steel workshop in order to green the building and encourage interaction between residents. It diffuses natural light in these new spaces, user comfort being one of the priorities of the YUA architecture studio. The materials used are kept in their raw aspect: oak, steel, birch plywood, to ensure continuity between interior and exterior.

Puyricard (13)

As its name suggests, this second home with 11,700 m² of land brings together two independent dwellings under the same roof in order to bring together the members of a large family living abroad and wanting a large house to meet. The vast homogeneous roof unifies the two dwellings while emphasizing the different spaces with various inclinations. For example, it rises to the east to mark the independence of the second dwelling, while in the center it lowers to highlight the mineral garden. The scenography, layout and architecture of the property were designed by PAN Architecture, which covers all fields of project management and urban planning.
