“This is how you get to Rashbi”: Today the sale of tickets to Hilula in Meron begins

by time news

In preparation for the celebration of Rabbi Shimon Bar-Yohai in Meron, the information headquarters is launching a campaign that presents the ways to reach the celebration this year, while emphasizing the obligation to purchase a ticket in advance for each participant and age – existing types of tickets and methods of purchase.

The travel card is a permit to stay on the mountain, with each ticket allowing a stay in the revelry complex for up to 4 hours and depending on the time specified on the ticket.

In a campaign published in a variety of written, broadcast and digital media, it is stated that for the benefit of those who attend the celebration, there are 3 types of tickets: for public transportation, for private transportation (such as organized buses of communities), and for those arriving by private car.

The first option – travel by public transport – will be made according to your choice, by public transport from the departure points when the travel ticket is a residence permit on Mount Meron.

Another option is to travel through private shuttle companies and private buses for up to 50 passengers. The choice of this travel ticket allows entry to the “Kahal” bus parking complex and from there to continue the shuttle ride to Meron.

A third option is to arrive by private car, with the pre-purchased travel ticket being for the ride to the revelry complex via a shuttle ride from the car park. Those arriving by private car are parked in the “Elifelet” car park and from there continue by shuttle using a private ticket purchased in advance, and when entering the car park you will have to present the entrance tickets according to the number of passengers in the car.

Returning home will be done through three terminals. According to the publication, Terminal 1 is intended for public transportation, and will be located in the Parod parking lot, with access to it via shuttles and from there to various destinations around the country. Terminal 1A is intended for the benefit of those arriving by private vehicles, with shuttles returning them to the private vehicles waiting in the Elifelet parking lot. This terminal is also intended for the benefit of those arriving by private transportation, to which they will return via shuttles from the terminal to the Kahal parking lot.

In addition, return to Safed will be made directly from Terminal 2 and return to Tiberias will be made directly from the northern end of Terminal 1.

• A special transportation system will be operated by “Ezer Mitzion” from the Safsufa parking lot and will be available to disabled people who use a wheelchair. The shuttle will only be booked on arrival, by phone at 073-24-777-24.

Tickets can be purchased through the Tickchak website, on the Glattick website, or at Meron.tickchak.co.il. Tickets can also be purchased at the ‘Vows Plus’ stations spread in synagogues all over the country.

The information headquarters reiterates: Every entrance to Mount Meron at any age – is conditional on purchasing a ticket in advance! The return trip is conditional on the presentation of the travel card.

The publication reminds immigrants from Merona to show responsibility and mutual guarantee and leave the revelry complex in accordance with the time stated on the card in order to allow those coming in line to enter.

Details on how to get there by public transportation can be obtained at the Public Transportation Information Center at 8787 * and at the information line for the Rashbi celebration 03-5098000.

The sale will begin this morning, Sunday, May 8, 2002.
