Dubai: A couple rescues a camel trapped in a sand dune in the desert. The camel was rescued by Ian Murphy and Christian Wilson, both Irish natives living in Dubai.

The incident took place in Ras Al Khaimah. The couple was traveling from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah. On their way to the dog park, they noticed a camel lying in the sand. A quarter of the camel was completely buried. They intervened in a timely manner and immediately removed the sand and started the rescue operation. Seeing this, the people nearby also joined in the rescue operation. The camel’s forelegs were paralyzed. About 15 people along with the couple came to the rescue of the camel. They then rescued the camel, gave it proper care and released it.

It is believed that the camels may have strayed into the area. Camel owners had also arrived on the scene. In return for saving the camel’s life, they gave the couple a lamb and two birds, but they refused, saying they did not raise animals. The camel owners were compelled to accept their hospitality.
