As you may recall, last month Yosef’s tomb was twice vandalized by Palestinian rioters. The rioters set fire to the rooms of the compound, broke the tombstone on the grave, damaged the chandelier, smashed the water tank and broke the electrical cabinet on the spot. A day later, another documentary was uploaded in which a Palestinian rioter was seen contemptuous of the place and throwing stones inside.

Two days after the second vandalism, the construction team of the Samaria Council entered the tomb complex together with the head of the council and accompanied by the Samaria Brigade, in favor of renovating the place. At the beginning of the movement of forces towards the tomb, Col. Roi Zweig, Brigadier General of Samaria, gave the order to leave in connection with the fighters.
