Chennai,

PMK. Founder Dr. Ramdas said in a statement: –

Cooking gas prices have been hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder again. Following this, the price of a cooking gas cylinder in Chennai has increased to Rs. 1015.50.

Cooking gas prices have risen by Rs 305 in 10 installments over the past one year. This is an increase of 44 percent. This cannot be tolerated by the poor and middle class.

At one time the subsidy was constantly raised so that the price of cooking gas did not exceed 400 rupees. In November 2018, the amount of subsidy touched a peak of Rs.435. But now the subsidy has been reduced to Rs 24.95.

This would be a double attack. The increase in cooking gas prices should be reversed in the interest of the people. The level of subsidy should be gradually increased.

Thus he is saying.
