Kismet Golf Rebrands, Launches AI-Powered Platform to Streamline Tournament Management

Meta Description: Kismet Golf, a new all-in-one platform, is revolutionizing golf tournament management with AI-driven tools for registration, scoring, and more.

A new era in golf event organization has begun with the rebranding of Partaake to Kismet Golf and the launch of its expanded, AI-driven platform. The company aims to eliminate the logistical headaches traditionally associated with running golf tournaments, offering a comprehensive solution for everything from registration to live scoring.

From Fairway to Full-Stack: The Genesis of Kismet Golf

Founded in Oceanside, California, Kismet Golf was born from the personal experience of CEO Kat Slump, a former Division I golfer and seasoned software engineer. Slump spent a decade honing her skills at companies like Apple and various high-growth startups, including Phia, a fashion-tech venture backed by Phoebe Gates, daughter of Bill Gates. “I’ve been on both sides—playing competitive golf and building software at scale,” Slump stated. “The gap in modern tools for event organizers was obvious. We built Kismet because running a tournament shouldn’t feel like a second job.”

The platform’s core mission is to simplify the event planning process, recognizing that organizers shouldn’t be burdened with a patchwork of disparate tools and spreadsheets.

AI at the Forefront of Event Efficiency

Kismet Golf leverages artificial intelligence to significantly accelerate event setup and reduce the manual workload for organizers. This includes automated generation of event websites and the drafting of participant communications. Beyond automation, the platform offers features like drag-and-drop pairings, comprehensive contest planning, and real-time scoring capabilities for various game formats, including scrambles, best ball, and stroke play. The goal, according to a company release, is to empower organizers to focus on the event itself, rather than getting bogged down in logistical details.

Proven Performance and Future Expansion

Since its initial launch in May 2025, Kismet Golf has already powered a diverse range of events across Southern California and beyond. Notable events include the Vessel Golf Invitational at Twin Oaks Golf Course, which featured a dynamic, real-time LED leaderboard, and the more unconventional Broccoli Bake-Off at Goat Hill Park.

Looking ahead, Kismet Golf will showcase its rebrand and demonstrate its latest features at the PGA Show in Orlando. Attendees are invited to visit Booth #2497 to meet the team and explore the platform’s capabilities, as well as learn about the company’s plans for 2026.
