SCB Women Dominate Neuchâtel Hockey Academy in Decisive 0-10 Away Victory

The SCB women’s hockey team delivered a commanding performance, securing a resounding 0-10 victory against the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy on Saturday evening. This decisive win underscores the team’s offensive prowess and sets a strong tone as they prepare for their next challenge.

The Bernese squad established control early, laying the groundwork for their success in the first period. Despite accumulating penalties, the team demonstrated patience and capitalized on opportunities. Kaleigh Quennec broke the ice, scoring the opening goal at the 19-minute mark, assisted by Wetli and Rozier (0:1). Estelle Duvin quickly followed with a goal at 27 minutes, thanks to assists from Rossel and Wetli (0:2). Duvin continued her strong performance, adding another goal at 36 minutes, this time assisted by Otamo and Joray (0:3). Ara Rozier added her name to the scoresheet, increasing the advantage to 0-4.

The final period showcased the SCB women’s full offensive capabilities. Cindy Joray and Rozier further extended the lead, followed by goals from Sinja Leemann and another from Joray, pushing the score to 0-8. maija Otamo and Rozier each added a final goal, completing the double-digit victory.

The final score stood at 0-10, with period scores of (0-1 | 0-3 | 0-6). The game was played before a crowd of 87 spectators, and was officiated by Pilecki, perrin, and Galli. Estelle Duvin and Weiss where recognized as the PostFinance Top Scorers.The teams accumulated a significant number of penalties, with Neuchâtel receiving 10 penalties totaling 20 minutes, and Bern receiving 13 penalties totaling 26 minutes.
