Following a security assessment, it was decided tonight (Sunday) that the crossings in the Judea and Samaria area will be opened tomorrow for the crossing, with the exception of the residents of Romana in the Jenin district – the residence of the terrorists who carried out the attack in Elad. It was also decided at the end of the assessment of the situation that the Erez crossing would remain closed to the movement of residents of the Gaza Strip until further notice.
The Coordinator of Government Operations in the Occupied Territories emphasized that “during the closure, passage will be possible only in humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases and subject to approval.” In addition, later this week there will be another situation assessment on the subject.
