NEW WHATSAPP FEATURE | The new WhatsApp function that most users will not like

by time news

WhatsApp has changed the way we communicate. It is now part of the daily lives of millions of people. And each feature addition to the app represents a social evolution in some way. This consideration may seem exaggerated, but to understand it, it is enough to measure how many aspects of life go through that messaging platform that today is the standard bearer of the virtual world that mixes with the real world.

From work contexts to private life, the way we communicate on WhatsApp is inevitably highly relevant. And, precisely for this reason, there is expectation for the novelty announced in the near future. Reactions will be presented.

I don’t always like

For those who are not familiar with the Internet, this means that, from the moment they are presented, it will be possible to reply to all messages simply with an emoticon that will be placed at the end of the received message.

Some may not like this. Although there are contexts in which they can appreciate its practicality.

But it is better to go in order. Many people don’t like that, at the end of a particularly eloquent message, there is someone who responds with a common “thumbs up” to communicate their agreement. It is a widely used emoticon, but sometimes it runs the risk of being too short an answer.

The introduction of reactions represents a tool through which the response through emoticons will be even more direct and encouraged.

Imagine that you write in a group, in fact, everyone will be able to express their opinion on another person’s message simply by putting a “smiley face” at the bottom of the bubble that contains the sent text (and not the entire chat).

It is known that the function is already active in Facebook Messenger. It will soon be active on WhatsApp as well, since it was announced by Mark Zuckberg as being deployed. Little by little everyone will receive the update.

The emoticons or smileys that can be used are the thumbs up (ok or ‘like’), the heart, the laughing face, the crying face and the two hands high five (some consider it a prayer). Simply use the bubble in which a message is contained and wait for the option to appear. And if, by any chance, you have a friend who doesn’t like to take a long time to answer, even when it deserves to be articulated, you can be sure that they will use this new WhatsApp feature a lot. In some cases, however, it might help to have a little more order in the groups.
