Temple Hills, Maryland – A suspect is in custody following a weekend shooting that left three men dead, authorities announced Monday.
Triple Shooting in Temple Hills Leads to Arrest
Investigators have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of one of three victims in Prince George’s County.
- A dispute inside a banquet hall escalated into a deadly gunfight early Saturday morning.
- Two of the victims, Pierre Davis and Kevon Medley Williams, died from shootout injuries.
- Antonio Lancaster, 39, was arrested Sunday in Fairfax County, Virginia, and awaits extradition.
- Ronez Proctor was identified as an innocent bystander killed in the shooting.
The shooting unfolded just after 2 a.m. Saturday at a banquet hall located on St. Barnabas Road, according to Prince George’s County police. An argument that began inside the establishment spilled into the parking lot, quickly devolving into a violent exchange of gunfire.
Police determined that 33-year-old Pierre Davis and 26-year-old Kevon Medley Williams exchanged gunfire, resulting in both of their deaths. Ronez Proctor, 27, was also struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have described Proctor as an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
Investigators identified Antonio Lancaster, 39, as a suspect in Proctor’s death. Lancaster was located and arrested in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Sunday. He is currently awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County to face multiple charges, including murder, police said Monday.
