Sonic Racing Cross World Welcomes Pac-Man in New DLC and In-Game Events
The latest update for Sonic Racing Cross World brings iconic characters and courses from the Pac-Man universe, alongside a host of celebratory events and a social media campaign.
SEGA Co., Ltd. announced today the release of the “Pac-Man Pack,” the third paid downloadable content (DLC) for Sonic Racing Cross World, available as of Thursday, January 8, 2026. The collaboration introduces beloved Pac-Man characters, themed courses, and unique machines to the high-speed racing experience.
The DLC features not only the titular Pac-Man but also racers Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde, appearing as both playable characters and skins. Players can now navigate the “Pac Village & Maze” course, inspired by the classic Pac-Man stage, and race in the collaborative “Pac-Man Mobile” machine. Adding to the immersive experience, a selection of Pac-Man songs have been integrated into the in-game jukebox.
To further celebrate the launch, SEGA is hosting “Pac-Man Festa,” an in-game event beginning Friday, January 9th. The event will pit players against each other in online races divided into three teams, competing for ranking points and challenging special rules, such as maximizing “touch dashes.” A trailer showcasing the “Pac-Man Pack” is also available for viewing. https://youtu.be/JX9kt86yIsY
