Setterosa Gears Up for European Championships with Key Training Camp and Greece Test Match
The Italian women’s water polo team, known as the Setterosa, is intensifying preparations for the European Championships in Funchal, Portugal, with a training camp in Ostia and a crucial test match against Greece. The team is focused on refining its strategy and building cohesion ahead of the championships, scheduled for January 26th to February 5th.
Training Camp and International Competition
From January 7th to 15th, the Setterosa will be based at the Federal Center in Ostia, Italy, for an intensive training period. This camp culminates in a significant test match against Greece on Saturday, January 10th, at 7:00 pm. The friendly will provide a valuable opportunity to assess the team’s progress and fine-tune tactics before facing top European competition.
