Both siblings share a similar playing style, with Jong-ha as a shooting guard and So-hee versatile between point guard and shooting guard. They frequently discuss the challenges of professional basketball and offer each other insights gained from watching their respective games. What’s the key to success in professional basketball? According to the Parks, it’s a combination of relentless practice, supportive relationships, and unwavering confidence.
So-hee’s Surge in Performance
Park So-hee has shown remarkable improvement in the ‘BNK Financial 2025-2026 Women’s Professional Basketball’ league. Her average score this season jumped to 11.1 points, more than double her previous season’s average of 5.1 points. Notably, her three-point shot success rate climbed from 16.9% to an impressive 28.2%.
“I’m playing with more confidence, which is really helping my outside shots,” So-hee Park said. She added, with a touch of sibling rivalry, “I always congratulate my brother when he plays well, and I watch his games…silently when he doesn’t.”

So-hee credits her brother, Jong-ha, with providing invaluable support and guidance. “Because we’ve played basketball together since we were young, we have a lot of common ground,” she explained. “He’s good at keeping me grounded when I’m feeling shaken.”
Jong-ha’s Development and Aspirations
Park Jong-ha is honing his skills by competing in both the first and second leagues, the D-League. He closely follows his sister’s progress, expressing pride in her growth. “So-hee’s confidence has definitely improved this season,” he observed. “She always had a good shot, but now that she’s more confident, it’s really showing on the court.”
While acknowledging their slightly different positions, Jong-ha believes they share similarities in their offensive approaches. He dreams of reaching a similar level of impact on his team. “I’m working hard in the off-season and learning a lot from coach Park Chan-hee,” he said. “I’m preparing to seize any opportunity that comes my way.”

“If I can perform well, it will be even better for both of us,” Jong-ha added. “There are many famous brother players in Korean basketball, and we want to become a representative brother and sister duo.”
