The event will spotlight the fiery duo of Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix, promising a wealth of opportunities for players to bolster their teams and experience enhanced gameplay.
Exclusive Moves and Evolutions
A key draw of the February Community Day is the chance to obtain exclusive moves for evolved Pokémon. Trainers who evolve Vulpix during the event window – or up to four hours afterward – will receive a Ninetales capable of unleashing the powerful charged attack, Energibola. Similarly, evolving an Alolan Vulpix will yield an Alolan Ninetales equipped with the formidable Cold Water attack. These moves are poised to be valuable assets in both player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) battles.
Special Research and In-Game Bonuses
Niantic will also offer an exclusive Community Day Special Research storyline, available for purchase within the game. According to a company release,this research will provide additional rewards,including encounters with Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix,a Premium Battle Pass,and coveted Rare Candies++. Trainers will also have the ability to gift tickets to close friends, fostering a sense of community within the game.
Beyond the special research, a series of event bonuses will considerably enhance the Pokémon GO experience:
