Elon Basketball Live Show Canceled Due to Weather, Upcoming Schedule Released
Due to inclement weather forcing the closure of Elon University’s campus on Monday, Jan. 26, the weekly Elon Basketball Live show has been canceled. The popular program, offering insights into Elon’s basketball programs, will resume its regular schedule on Monday, Feb. 2.
The weekly show is held at The Mark inside The Inn at Elon, providing a central location for fans to engage with the teams. According to university officials, the decision to cancel was made to prioritize the safety of students, staff, and fans given the hazardous weather conditions.
Despite the cancellation of the live show, action on the court continues. The Elon women’s basketball team is scheduled to compete at Hampton University at noon ET on Monday, Jan. 27, in Hampton, Virginia. The Elon men’s basketball team will return to action on Thursday, Jan. 30, hosting William & Mary at the Schar Center at 7 p.m. ET.
