100 cases of monkey pox in Europe; The World Health Organization called an emergency meeting

Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) has called an emergency meeting in the wake of the spread of monkeypox cases in Europe. The WHO meeting was called on Friday.

More than 100 cases of monkeypox have been reported in Europe so far, most common in the West and Central African regions. With this, the WHO called an emergency meeting.

Monkeypox is currently confirmed in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy and Belgium. Suspicious cases have also been reported in the US, Canada and Australia.

Five Kovid cases were confirmed in Belgium yesterday. This has led to concerns about the spread of the disease in Europe.

Monkeypox, first detected in monkeys, later spreads to humans through close contact with the virus carrier. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during and outside of Africa.

Germany responded by saying that the biggest outbreak of monkeypox ever was taking place in Europe.

At the same time, experts say the monkeypox epidemic will not turn into a major epidemic like the one in Kovid. Scientists point out that the virus that causes monkeypox is not as easy and fast to spread as the corona virus.

The most common symptoms of monkeypox are high fever and fever.
