The Evolution of a Cult Favorite
The beloved Lip Glow formula wasn’t scrapped, but refined. “but for me,it missed something, which was the effect,†explained Peter Philips,Dior’s creative and image director of makeup. “We worked for about two to three years to fine-tune it without changing too much, but giving the possibility to add pigment and different finishes.†The result? Two new shine finishes—Sparkly and Glaze—available in 16 shades.
Dior global brand ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy, radiant in a custom, embellished gown, has already been enjoying the updated formula. “Your lips can actually take much more of the oil than you think they can. It doesn’t move that much—so you can go hard with it,†she shared with a laugh.
