Graciela Suarez, director of Pasarela Campoamor in Oviedo, northern Spain, expressed her devastation, stating she was “devastated” by the news.
Cristina’s body is scheduled to be transferred to Asturias, the region where she spent her formative years, for her funeral this Friday, February 6th.
While her parents, Tatiana Galcenco and Nacho Perez, have not yet issued a public statement, photographer Xana de Jesus shared a heartfelt tribute.
“I have no words for this sad news,other than to say to her parents,Tatiana Galcenco and nacho Perez,and her family that a star shines eternally in our hearts and that I sent my deepest condolences in this time of mourning,” de Jesus wrote. “I will never forget your words, cris. You have always been and will always be a role model and example to be followed, both in your modeling career and as a person. I was very lucky to know you and work with you. How unfair life is.”
A friend of Cristina Pérez Galcenco, quoted by The Mirror, simply stated: “Cristina is an angel and always has been.”
